While everyone works at different times in different ways, we've included a diverse set of suggestions that you can select, adjust and follow 😊

Cue 8 Work From Home Tips To Boost Your Productivity. Let's get started shall we?

1. Create a morning routine (minus the commute).

Rise and shine! Start your day off with some morning yoga, enjoy brewing a morning coffee with a loved one, read a page out of your favourite book, or go for a silent meditation. This daily repetition of activity gives you something to look forward to in the mornings and set a positive and productive tone for the rest of the day.

2. Get Dressed

One of the many luxuries of working at home include working from bed in your pyjamas. While this is tempting, it's not so productive. Shower, do your makeup and get dressed as if you were heading to the office. This helps to set the mood and get yourself in the state of mind to tackle the work day.

3. Take Breaks!

Especially for lunch - go for a walk, time a break to cook and leave your screen for a period of time. Experts say fresh air is really important these days as long as you keep a social distance from others.

4. Protect Your Time

Just because you work from home doesn’t mean you have time to run errands clean the house, do laundry, check the fridge 30 times within the afternoon (guilty). Know when work time is game time and after that, you can do all the errands you like.

5. Protect Your Space

Same approach when it comes to spaces. Dedicate a workspace in your apartment. Refrain from working in bed and keep the places where you like to unwind sacred. That way you can associate the space you're in between being in work mode and when it's time to kick back and relax.

6. Create a favourable environment

When you’re feeling uninspired or unproductive make sure you can brew yourself a cup of tea, put on a favourite playlist or put a podcast on, put on a diffuser. Make your space inspire you to get your productivity back.

    7. Stay focused

There are a few ways you can approach it depending on the type of worker you are. With so many distractions at home, it can be difficult to nail in task after task.

Here are a few techniques that are worth trying:

    • Try batching
    • If you are more visual, keep a paper planner at hand
    • Learn the Pomodoro technique
    • Keep your phone away/ on silent while you are working on a project

Find little ways to spark productivity for you and keep the gears going.

    8. Learn when to call it a day!

As important as it is to be turned on during the work day, it's just as important to turn off (especially when working from home). Checking your email and switching your laptop on because it's at arms reach can be super easy to do - but can also lead to decreased productivity and at home burn out. When you've checked off everything on your to-do list, turn the screens off.

As always, self care comes first and we know it can be tough especially when we are limited boundaries between work and home.
