How to Wake Up Feeling Refreshed

How to Wake Up Feeling Refreshed - Three Ships

Summer is gone, fall is here, and it’s gradually getting dark earlier outside - having a hard time getting out of bed? Here are some tips you can take away to help you wake up feeling refreshed on gloomy days.

1. Hydrate

Keep hydrated both internally and externally - make sure you drink enough water before going to bed. Drinking water helps you to balance your hormones, muscles and nutrients. Hydrate your skin by using our Hydrate 49% Almond Oil Serum.

3. Masking Before Bed

Treat your skin with some face masks - start your day right with hydrated skin. Did you know that your body heats up while you’re asleep, so it’s really effective to put on your masks when you’re sleeping? Apply a mask before bed and let your skin absorb all the nutrients while you’re asleep!

5. Meditate Before Bed

Meditating before going to bed helps you to clear up your mind. It helps you to let go of the stresses of the day and reset. Take a few minutes to just sit down and let your mind unwind.

6. No Screen Time

Interacting with blue light before bed will keep you awake and make you feel restless throughout the night. A lot of #bossbabes who I’ve interviewed shared that they have been incorporating “no screen time” an hour or two before going to bed, putting their phones in a different room, to keep them stay balanced.

7. Enjoy Your Day To The Fullest

The best feeling is when you’re so tired you lay on your bed and you feel like you’re melting into your pillows. Someone once said when you can’t sleep at night, it’s because you feel like you still have some unfinished work to do. Tire yourself so you can sleep like a baby. Enjoy your day to the fullest so you can call it a night and close your eyes without any guilt!

8. Wake Up To Sunlight

Waking up to natural light helps you to freshen up and sleep better. Absorbing sunlight in the morning helps our body to produce melatonin which balances sleep cycles and our internal clock. Open up your curtain on a sunny morning, take some time to sit by the window and absorb sunlight, and let your body feel all the energy.

9. Keep a Regular Bedtime Routine

On top of waking up to natural light, having a regular bedtime ensures you to have enough sleep and keep you feel refreshed. Sleep and wake up around the same time even on weekends. To have your internal clock balanced is the key to a pleasant morning.
