Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and process Shopify orders in a timely manner, communicating with other team members where necessary and ensuring a high degree of order fulfillment accuracy.
  • Follow routing guidelines for retailers (HBC, Indigo, Detox Market, etc.) which includes accurately packing out orders, applying carton labels and routing orders via EDI where necessary.
  • Perform accurate cycle counts and physical inventory of items end of month (monthly) to maintain accuracy of our online Inventory Management System (SOSInventory).
  • Communicating and investigating inventory discrepancies with the supervisor in a timely manner should they occur.
  • Ensure and maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment at all times.
  • Verify and document the quantity and condition of goods received and shipped, communicating damages and/or shortages with the supervisor should they occur.
  • Receive in and ship orders which major carriers, coordinating with shipping carriers where applicable. Orders range in size from 1lb boxes to full pallets.
  • Ensure orders are ready for shipment to customers in adherence to delivery schedules.
  • Establish new procedures and systems to improve warehouse efficiency and take pride in maintaining Three Ships’s brand and level of service.
  • Attend full-team meetings and offsites, where necessary.
  • Other back-end support as requested by the supervisor.
  • Pack other retail orders as provided by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience, ideally at a large volume warehouse that handles both retailer and direct-to-consumer shipments.
  • Prior leadership experience is preferred.
  • Shopify experience is an asset.
  • SPS Commerce experience is an asset.
  • Able to work safely and effectively under pressure in a time sensitive environment.
  • Be a role model for quality, integrity and safety.
  • Meet the physical demands of the role; standing, lifting, carrying. Must be able to lift 50 lb boxes.
  • Previous experience with pump trucks is preferred.
  • Forklift certification is an asset.

This is a full-time position with a tentative start date of mid/end of January 2023. All applicants must be able to reliably commute to our warehouse, located in Brampton, ON.

Responsibilities

    Marketing Team Support:
  • Support the day-to-day coordination and execution of brand initiatives, working closely with the marketing and cross-functional teams.
  • Support the development of brand assets, including marketing and sales collateral alongside various ad hoc requests.
  • Maintain asset library to ensure brand assets are readily available and appropriately organized.
  • Coordinate sample orders for external partners as needed, including agencies, photography, press and various ad hoc requests.
  • Support the planning and execution of brand and sampling events, working closely with Brand Community Lead and cross-functional teams as needed.

  • Community Engagement:
  • Managing and taking complete ownership of online community engagement on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, including: responding to comments, managing the DMs, tagged posts, and engaging with influencers and ambassadors.
  • Support Customer Experience Lead with customer service tickets during high-volume periods and key promotions as needed.

  • Social Media Management:
  • Assist in content calendar development and management, including drafting captions, highlight top UGC content, and highlighting social trends to capitalize on.
  • Responsible for cross-posting social media content across channels.
  • Assist with in-house filming, video editing, and social media graphic creation.
  • Responsible for drafting scripts for organic and paid social video posts and writing regular blog feature posts.
  • Pulling social media analytics reports and tracking competitive insights, sharing findings with Brand Marketing Manager on a monthly basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working in social media.
  • Have a passion for social media and are genuinely interested in staying on top of social media and digital marketing trends
  • Excellent copywriting and research skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work both strategically and tactically.
  • Ability to work autonomously and also in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Research, creation and expansion on our educational content including:
  • Adding new entries into our Ingredient Glossary on our site to support the launch of new products.
  • Writing of new educational blogs and infographics.
  • Develop social content to educate customers and shoppers on the benefits of natural skincare, focusing on the science behind the products. This content will include:
  • TikTok.
  • Instagram posts and IGTVs.
  • YouTube Videos.
  • Testing of new products including providing feedback on the formula, results and the packaging.
  • Review of ingredient data sheets and vetting of new raw materials to ensure compliance with our brand standards.
  • Communicating with the lab on revisions/edits needed and managing the end to end product development process including detailed standards vetting for all new formulas.
  • On-boarding of customer test groups and execution of detailed customer feedback surveys. The data should then be analyzed and compiled into a final report.
  • Aiding the team in organizing and maintaining our operational records including supplier quotes, design work, formulas, microbial testing results and research papers.
  • Submission of products into governing or compliance bodies as well as the generation of Safety Data Sheets and QA/QC documents.
  • Completing final primary and secondary packaging review to ensure accurate product details.
  • Manage internal product databases of product copy, INCIs, target skin concerns and other details.
  • Creation of new product development briefs and presentation of details to partner labs.
  • Other sustainability programming, operational or R&D support as requested by the co-founder.

Requirements

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Chemistry, Science, Technology or Math required.
  • Previous research and development experience required, preferably in the beauty space.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite.
  • Understanding of the legal requirements for Canadian and US skincare products.
  • Shopify experience is an asset.
