Here’s Why Mushrooms Should be the Newest Addition to your Skincare
Despite the fact that the adaptogen craze is just now taking off, mushrooms have always been a mainstay in traditional medicine for thousands of years. Celebrated for their ability to improve overall skin health and youthfulness, it’s about time we announced our newest product launch: Dew Drops.
Filled to the brim with Mushroom Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin C, our Dew Drops serum is designed to keep your skin strong, hydrated and bouncy. Keep reading to see the benefits of the ingredients list and how to incorporate Dew Drops into your daily routine.
Ingredient Spotlight: Snow Mushroom
The hero ingredient in our serum is snow mushroom, also known as tremella fuciformis. This fungus has not only been used in Chinese remedies for centuries, it was also a go-to product of famous eighth-century beauty Yang Guifei who credited the snow mushroom with maintaining her flawless porcelain complexion. Here’s why snow mushroom is a super-ingredient and why you might consider using it.
A Natural Hydration Powerhouse
Snow mushroom is often used in skin care for its impressive hydrating properties. It has a naturally gelatinous structure which combined with its high levels of polysaccharides, helps the snow mushroom draw moisture deep into the skin. The mushroom also penetrates the skin easier than hyaluronic acid by having smaller particles, allowing for intense hydration. As colder, fall weather rounds the corner, stepping up our skincare hydration is an absolute must!
Builds Elasticity for Strong, Bouncy Skin
In addition to increasing moisture, snow mushrooms also enhance the natural production of collagen – a structural protein that gives skin density and volume. Since collagen production decreases with age, as well as with exposure to UV radiation and other environmental pollutants, snow mushroom helps to maintain the skin’s existing stores of collagen and promotes healthy aging. With that in mind, we created Dew Drops to give you the extra “oomph” you need for bouncy and plump skin!
Lighten and Brighten – Our Favourite Duo
Just because summer days may be coming to an end, it doesn’t mean you can’t keep your skin looking fresh and bright. Studies have highlighted snow mushrooms as an ingredient that can inhibit melanin production, which is super beneficial if you have acne scars or hyperpigmentation on your skin! To ensure that your skin truly is lighter and brighter, we’ve also added a dose of Vitamin C to Dew Drops. It’s no surprise how much we love Vitamin C – it’s a strong antioxidant that helps reduce skin inflammation and irregular pigmentation. So, pairing it with snow mushrooms is key to keeping your skin healthy and bright!
Sounds like a new favourite! So how do you use Dew Drops?
- Splash some warm water on your face and cleanse with your favourite cleanser.
- Follow with a toner to get rid of any excess dirt on your skin.
- Add a couple drops of Dew Drops onto your fingertips and gently pat onto your face.
- Finish off with a day cream to clean, dry skin. Let absorb for 2 minutes before applying sunscreen and makeup.

It was tough keeping this one a secret from you guys. we couldn’t be more excited to finally share Dew Drops with you.
