Responsibilities

  • Ownership: Responsible for leading efforts to hit new customer acquisition targets by strategically planning and executing targeted ad campaigns, and leveraging our customer acquisition channels. Success will be measured by maintaining an efficient CAC:LTV ratio.
  • Leadership: Manage and develop two direct reports, the Retention Marketing Associate and the eCommerce Marketing Manager, fostering a team culture of continual analysis, testing, experimentation, and optimization.
  • Paid Campaign Management: Setup, monitor and optimize the performance of digital marketing campaigns (Meta, Google and TikTok etc), making timely data-driven adjustments to improve results with the guidance of external consultants.
  • Ad Creative Strategy: Develop process to continuously develop, iterate, and test new ad creative, working closely with Director of Marketing to identify resources needed.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor key performance metrics and track campaign effectiveness, providing regular performance reports and actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Testing: Implement A/B testing and experimentation methodologies to optimize campaign performance, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value.
  • Retention & Site Experience: Work closely with Retention Marketing Associate and eCommerce Marketing Manager to optimize customer retention, onsite experience, and loyalty programs to drive LTV and repeat purchase.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay abreast of industry developments, best practices, and emerging technologies in growth marketing, proactively identifying opportunities to innovate and enhance our marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in growth marketing, with hands-on experience managing successful campaigns across paid social and paid search channels. Additional channel experience is an asset.
  • Experience leading and managing a high-performing team, ideally in a DTC environment.
  • Strong analytical and agile decision-making skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights, formulate strong recommendations, and optimize marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem solving skills with a growth mindset and strong bias for testing + learning.
  • Experience within a beauty company or consumer goods is an asset.
  • Proficiency in basic video editing and ad angle generation is an asset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Grow social media presence by increasing followers across TikTok and Instagram by creating frequent, engaging, and relevant content.
  • Lead social media content calendar with final approval from Brand Manager.
  • Brainstorm, create, film and edit all social media content as outlined in social media calendar.
  • Source UGC by working with content creators, creating briefs, and approving content as needed on a campaign basis.
  • Schedule all posts across various social media accounts, ensuring timely and accurate posting.
  • Respond to all comments and direct messages, collaborating with Customer Service as needed.
  • Utilize social media analytics software to track, analyze and report on performance metrics, and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate integrated campaigns and promotions across all digital platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • 1+ year of proven experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing an asset.
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, CapCut, and other relevant social media platforms.
  • Experience with video content creation and editing is essential.
  • Proficiency in social media analytics software to track and analyze campaign performance.
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills with a sharp attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for creating engaging and innovative content.
  • Ability to work independently, and collaborate effectively within a small team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
