Sustainable Packaging

We ensure our packaging is recyclable and compostable: outer packaging is cardboard, and inner components are glass bottles that can be easily recycled or upcycled.

Waste Reduction

We've partnered with Pact Collective to recycle hard-to-recycle items like droppers and caps. Drop them at Pact Bins in Hudson's Bay or Credo Beauty, or use their mail-in program.

Upcycled Ingredients

When possible, we upcycle discarded ingredients for our formulas, giving them new life and keeping them out of landfills.

Waste Reduction with Pact Collective

We are a proud member of Pact, a nonprofit membership organization that collects hard-to-recycle beauty products such as pumps and serum droppers.

Pact sorts through the hard-to-recycle packages by material type with the aim to find the highest and best use for all materials. Ideally, Pact will sell some of the material back to beauty packaging manufacturers to fulfill the circular economy.

Upcycled BEAUTY

Upcycled beauty reduces waste by sourcing parts of produce that would often contribute to food waste. We see value in discarded raw materials and strive to find methods of upcycling these ingredients for formulation. Swipe to learn more about our upcycled ingredients.

Biolin

Our biolin sugar blend is upcycled from discarded chicory roots, which are typically wasted after leaf removal. Chicory fields around the factory help cut carbon emissions, while factory waste is repurposed as natural fertilizer or animal feed, supporting a circular economy.

Grape Cell Extract

Our Fruit Cell Extract is upcycled from Gamay Teinturier Fréaux grapes, which, despite their thick skin and bitterness, are rich in tannins and antioxidants ideal for our formulations.

Pentylene Glycol

Our Pentylene Glycol is upcycled from sugarcane bagasse, a fibrous byproduct of juice extraction. USDA-certified biobased, it uses 100% renewable carbon, with biomass residues fueling the process.

Bark Extract

Our Bark Extract is upcycled from Quebec lumber industry by-products. The bark's bioactive molecules are extracted and the leftover bark is recycled into compost, returning to the forest as fertilizer

Blueberry Seed Oil

Our Blueberry seed oil is produced from berry pulp from the juice industry that would otherwise go to waste. Over 800,000 blueberries go into every kg!
